Haier HLT71 7-Inch Portable LCD TV

Haier HLT71The Haier HLT71 LCD TV is a tiny, 7-inch portable television screen that wants, nay, begs to be taken just about anywhere. In fact, not only does it promise to entertain you on long trips, it promises to act as a babysitter for your loud, impatient children — beat that, Mary Poppins.

The 7-inch LCD screen includes an ATSC/NTSC tuner, has a selectable screen aspect ratio of 16:9 or 4:3, includes audio and video jacks along with coaxial output and even has a multi-language OSD for English, French and Spanish. Finally, the screen includes a remote control — why?

We’re not really sure. We assume that anyone using it would be within an arm-length of the gadget; otherwise, we’d suggest getting an actual TV. And yet, there it is a remote control — luxury at its finest.

All in all, the little screen is a worthy investment. We expect gadgets like this to slowly go extinct with the advancement of mobile phones (we’re looking at you, iPhone), but we’re not there quite yet, and if you hate missing the big game because you’re stuck on the train or your children’s incessant backseat whining has stripped you of your last nerve, than the Haier HLT71 LCD TV is useful and definitely worth the buy.

Things That Make It Special:

1. 7-inch portable LCD TV.
2. ATSC/NTSC tuner.
3. Aspect ratio of 16:9 or 4:3.
4. Audio/video jack and coaxial output.
5. A spoon full of Haier HLT71 LCD TV helps the medicine go down.
